Parents,
I hope you experience a wonderful Easter with your sweet families as you celebrate our risen Savior! It is such a special time of hope and gratefulness. We had a meaningful Easter Chapel today led by our third graders. Special activities, stories, and Easter treats have made this a fun week! Remember no school tomorrow on Good Friday.

Skills: vowel pairs, paragraphs, author's viewpoint, word families
The students did a great job on their first book reports! We enjoyed hearing about the different chapter books that they had read.
Language: Expressing an Opinion paragraph- final copy
Spelling: Words ending with ed and ing pp. 198-203
Math: Parts of a Group pp. 347-358
Science: Test on Weather- Thursday pp. 270-305
Social Studies: Our Country Long Ago
We have been working on learning the 50 states through games and puzzles. The U.S. map test will be given on May 2nd. I hope everyone received hand-outs explaining it. Let me know if you need one!
