Hi Parents,
I hope you are already enjoying this festive, holiday season. We were blessed by the wonderful Kindergarten play and "Twas the Night Before Christmas" at Trinity! The children loved dressing up in their holiday clothes on Thursday.
On the last post I had some dates wrong. The classroom Christmas party is Thursday, Dec. 15. Early dismissal at 11:30 is on Friday, Dec. 16. Sorry! I published that blog again with the dates corrected.

Reading: "Grandpa's Corner Store" and "Barrio"- continued
Stories about different communities.
Language: Writing Instructions pp. 206-225
Spelling: Homophones pp. 114-118 Test will be on Wednesday only.
Math: Adding 3-digit numbers with regrouping pp. 375-380
Science: Food Chains pp. 172-181
The students prepared habitat boxes in groups and we shared these in class. They did a great job of creating rain forest, tundra, desert, grasslands, pond, and ocean environments!
Social Studies: Goods and Services pp. 116-125
