Lesson Plans for February 13-16
Hi Parents,
Second graders have had a fun and challenging time in Math using money! Mrs. J's Sweet Shoppe opened today in our classroom. At our store, the children use play money to buy Blow Pops 61 cents, Sweet Tarts 56 cents, Air Heads 37 cents, Tootsie Pops 73 cents, or Rice Krispies 42 cents. They bring the exact change to me in play money to purchase the candy. Then they get the money back! I wish it really worked that way! Our Valentine party will be on Tuesday, February 14th. If your child has not brought their valentines for the class, please send them on Monday. Their bags are ready and waiting!
Lesson Plans for the week of February 13-16:
Bible: John 15:5- due Feb. 16
I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
